This year I’m running my first NYC Marathon in support of Teaching Matters, an organization dedicated to ensuring all students have access to excellent teaching. After five years in education, I’ve seen firsthand how much the right teacher can shape a student’s confidence, curiosity, and future, and I see that impact every day through two of my best friends who are teachers and give their all to help their students see themselves and the world in a positive light.
Running 26.2 miles is a big challenge for me, but it’s nothing compared to the impact teachers make every day. If you’re able, I would be so grateful if you considered donating.
